SENAPATHI Report

Editorial & Corrections Policy

Sourcing

Every news story is an original synthesis of at least two independent sources, which are listed at the end of the article. We privilege primary sources — ministry releases, service statements, official transcripts and budget documents — over secondary reporting wherever they exist.

Numbers

A figure appears on this site only if it is verifiable in one of the story's listed sources. Where credible sources conflict, we publish the range and say the sources differ. Where a figure cannot be verified, we omit it or label it unconfirmed. Dashboard and tracker data carry a source link and an as-of date on every datum.

Assessments

Some judgments — region threat status, program outlooks — are analytical rather than reported. These are always labelled "assessment" and never presented as fact.

Images

Photographs come from official government or armed-forces sources, Wikimedia Commons, or public-domain defence imagery, credited under the image with their licence. Where no permissible photograph exists, we use editorial illustrations, clearly labelled "AI illustration". We never publish synthetic images that could be mistaken for photographs of real events or real people.

Updates and changelogs

News articles show a published date, and an updated date if materially revised. Tracker and platform pages update in place; each carries a dated changelog so you can see exactly what changed and when.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix the text, add a dated correction note to the article, and update any tracker or dashboard entry that inherited the error. Spotted one? Write to us via the contact page — corrections are acted on within 48 hours.

Independence

Senapathi Report accepts no payment, sponsorship or consideration in exchange for coverage. All content is free to read, and we collect no personal data — no accounts, no lists, no trackers.
