Kora-class
StableThe mature class remains operationally employed, with INS Kirch participating in India's International Fleet Review on 18 February 2026.
INS Kirch participated in the International Fleet Review off Visakhapatnam on 18 February 2026, after INS Kora exercised with Japanese and Indonesian warships near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 13 February. Project 25A produced compact GRSE-built corvettes carrying 16 Kh-35 anti-ship missiles for concentrated anti-surface warfare. INS Karmuk's participation in SITMEX-25 and Operation Brahma shows that the mature class still performs combat training, presence and humanitarian missions. For India, the ships retain useful sea-denial and maritime-security roles around the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman approaches.
